How would you like to learn to take fantastic photographs of the walled city of York. This fun and informative tour allows you to take photos of the of this historic city. Learn how to take great images, using the best angles in any weather conditions. Learn practical and creative photography skills and how to get the best out of a camera. Whether it's a compact or a DSLR, take some stunning images and learn new tricks, tips and techniques. Photograph some of York's most iconic attractions including York train station, York Minster and Church of All Saints. Capture The Shambles and Merchant Hall from a variety of angles. There are plenty of opportunities to practise your existing skills and to leave with some fantastic photos of this varied city.

At least four weekend Saturdays or Sundays throughout the year. - Participant Guidelines
Minimum age 16 (under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult). Participants don't need any previous photography experience, and any digital camera from a compact to a DSLR is appropriate for this experience. - Weather
The course may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or severe rain). Please call the venue if in any doubt. - Duration
The experience lasts for approximately three hours. - Numbers on the Day
A maximum of eight participants share the day. - Dress Code
This experience takes place outdoors, so please dress appropriately with suitable footwear. - Other Info
