Overview

Feel the thrill of free falling through the air with an hour-long iFly experience for one at The Bear Grylls Adventure indoor wind tunnel in Birmingham. Starting with a full briefing from the expert instructors, learn all the positions and hand signals before the flight. Then take the leap and enjoy two exhilarating one-minute flights accompanied by an instructor, the equivalent of three 12,000ft sky dives, for a unique and adrenaline-filled experience to remember. There’s even a video of the flight available to purchase on the day. Plus, take on an extra challenge with unlimited access to the Royal Marines-inspired Assault Course – it’s sure to get any thrill-seeker’s blood pumping.

  • Availability Description
    This voucher is valid for one person. Available Thursday–Sunday, year round. All dates are subject to availability.
  • Participant Guidelines
    Those who have previously suffered from a shoulder dislocation or a neck or back injury will not be permitted to fly. Minimum age: 8 years. 8- and 9-year-olds must be accompanied on the activity by a participating adult aged 18 or over. Guests aged 10–16 years must have an adult present at check-in to sign waivers, but can enjoy the adventure unaccompanied. Parents with children aged 10–13 years must stay on site throughout. Maximum weight is 18st (114kg). Maximum height is 6’7”.
  • Duration
    This activity lasts for one hour.
  • Dress Code
    It is recommended that participants wear comfortable active wear and lace up trainers.
  • Other Info
    All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. All participants must complete a waiver upon check in, plus a risk declaration for iFly. Free on-site lockers are available to store valuables and loose items.
