Looking for a truly extraordinary experience? Choose from 33 locations across the UK and enjoy a tranquil flight in an enchanting hot air balloon together! The experience begins at dawn, when participants meet to prepare the balloon for flight. Then, it's time for the experienced crew to take the balloon up in the air for a full hour. Marvel at the magnificent views and landscapes below as the balloon drifts 2000ft in the sky. It's a morning that will be remembered long after it's over.

- Availability Description
Available during Monday - Friday between the months of April-October, excluding bank holidays. Flights take place at dawn, when the air is at its most stable. - Participant Guidelines
Maximum weight 18 stone. Minimum height 4'6''. Minimum age is 8. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. Those who are pregnant or under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to fly. Any medical conditions must be declared in advance. - Weather
Ballooning is extremely weather dependent - it is crucial to call the venue before the flight. If postponed, an alternative date and location can be arranged (please contact the operator for information). - Duration
Actual flight length is determined by conditions on the day. The experience normally lasts around three hours, including one hour for inflating the balloon and one hour for packing the balloon away and returning to the launch site. Please note at the following locations only for Wickers World (Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Cheshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire or Gloucestershire). They do not offer champagne however the flight time is extended by up to 15 minutes. - Numbers on the Day
Share the balloon with between 8-16 other flyers, plus a qualified pilot. - Dress Code
Wear trousers, long sleeves and sensible footwear (no high heels please). Please avoid loose scarves or jewellery. Bring a hat - heat from the burner overhead can be intense. Launch and landing sites can be muddy. - Other Info

We would like to extend a very warm & heartfelt thank you to Broadlands Balloons & Wicker’s World in addition to Red Letter Day for such a fantastic day. From start to finish we were treated with kindness and shown a fabulous time. It was a very rare treat to enjoy a hot air balloon ride and something we will both remember for a long time. We highly recommend to anyone.
