Traditional Afternoon Tea for Two at a New Forest Hotel

Was given as a gift to my mum and me for Christmas, really lovely idea and we both loved the Afternoon Tea.

Forest Lodge Lyndhurst, New Forest, 2 adults. Calm atmosphere. Service with a smile. Unusual selection of sweet & savoury items, presented beautifully. Clean and spacious restaurant. A lovely afternoon tea- glad we went.

A much delayed gift due to Covid and to change experience as the Segway was no longer available in my home area. We used this whilst on holiday in the new forest. The selection was excellent and the staff lovely and very helpful.

We booked our afternoon tea at the Beaulieu Hotel, Lyndhurst - a beautiful location. The tea was of a high standard & plentiful. Freshly baked scones with clotted cream & jam, sandwiches & a selection of cakes. Two large pots of tea. Helpful & friendly staff.

Afternoon tea at Beaulieu Inn hotel, so relaxing in a clean comfortable dining area. Food was freshly made and displayed nicely and our host was friendly and informative. Nice way to spend an afternoon ??

Food very good and wide choice surroundings a little clinical

We arrived a bit early for our afternoon tea looking forward to a nice experience and they directed us into a corner of a small bar area. We where not near a window and one set of curtains where closed and the room was dark and isolated. We complained and they said we could move into the lounge which we did but the seating in there was not very comfortable. The food was ok but we had already lost interest in the whole event. We felt that we where just being shoved out the way because they had an event on in their restaurant and we where left on our own and isolated. The staff where nice enough and spoke well to us when we saw them but it did nothing to make us feel better.
