Big Cat Photography in Merseyside
Big cats are some of the most majestic animals on the planet, and this photography experience is the perfect opportunity to bring a camera, capture their magnificence and create lasting images. Begin with a welcome tea or coffee and an introductory briefing from the hosts, who outline how to get the best from the day and camera. Knowsley Safari Park is situated between Liverpool and Manchester and has a fantastic range of species in over 400 acres of parkland. During the workshop focus on the Carnivore section that includes an amazing 14 strong African lion pride, amur tigers and iberian wolves. Enjoy special VIP access to the animals to ensure the best chance for pictures, with the help of the keepers, off road Land Rovers and special access.

- Availability Description
All year round. Weekends and school holiday dates only available from November to March. Please note the parks are shut weekdays from November to March so guests cannot stay in the park after the event.
- Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 14, any under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult. Both venues are made up of accessible pathways and are well served for wheelchair bound visitors (please advise needs at the point of booking).
The course may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or severe rain). Please call the venue if in any doubt.
Starts at 8.30am and finishes at 11.30pm. Feel free to spend the rest of the day exploring the park's many attractions.

- Dress Code
Much of the experience takes place outdoors, so please dress appropriately and wear suitable footwear. In case of rain, please bring a waterproof coat as well as waterproof trousers for kneeling on wet ground.
